In Camera

About a few weeks in the life of a struggling young actor, In Camera kinda straddles the line between an oddball art film and a more straightforward character study. It’s a bit of a strange combo, and it can sometimes feel off-putting — but it works more often than it doesn’t (the more straightforward stuff is definitely where the movie shines, so it helps that the film is generally 70 percent character study, 30 percent oddball).
