Black Dog

It’s hard to go wrong with a road movie, even one that doesn’t try to break the mold. And Black Dog, with its “uptight guy and free-spirited guy hit the road and bond” narrative, definitely doesn’t try to break the mold. But it’s fine. Nothing about it is much better than okay, and it certainly doesn’t do anything you haven’t seen many, many times before. But I can think of worse ways to spend 96 minutes.
