Sheep Without a Shepherd
There isn’t a whole lot to say about Sheep Without a Shepherd; nothing about it stands out in any particular way, but it’s enjoyable enough. About a normal family who find themselves forced to outsmart the cops in the aftermath of a crime, it’s generally well acted and well put together, but nothing about it pops. It has a nice propulsive energy, with Sam Quah’s overly slick direction mostly getting the job done, but at almost two hours long it feels flabby. Still, it’s not boring, and watching the cat-and-mouse shenanigans unfold between the family and the police is reasonably engaging. But it’s the type of movie that will likely recede from your brain within minutes of finishing it.
